Abstract Submission Guidelines

Atlantic Trauma and Emergency Medicine Conference 2017

We are currently inviting abstract submissions in preparation for the 2017 Atlantic Trauma and Emergency Medicine conference, being held in Moncton, New Brunswick September 21-23, 2017.

Abstracts must be submitted by June 16, 2017 to: NBTrauma@HorizonNB.ca

The highest scored entry will receive one full conference registration fee reimbursement!

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. Clearly state the purpose of your study and include a brief description of the methods used.  Provide actual data and, if available, a summary of the results.  Abstracts that promise to explain the importance of the work during the presentation will not be considered.
  2. Your abstract should be separated into four sections: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  3. Abstracts must be original i.e. non-published, work.
  4. Abstracts must be submitted single-spaced in Calibri, 12pt font. Abstracts should not contain any citations. Abstracts should NOT exceed 250 words. You may include a small table or figure if you wish, but please note that every word in a figure or table counts as four words.

All correspondence will be with corresponding author ONLY. Please ensure that this email address is correct and that this individual will, upon notification of acceptance, advise all co-authors.
