We are excited to share that our Mobile Trauma Simulation program has been accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. We want to thank our partners as none of this would be possible without our provincial partners, the Department of Health, Horizon, Vitalité and Ambulance NB.
This accreditation means that our Mobile Simulation Program meets the high standards set out by the Royal College. Accounting for the process, quality, and content of simulation programs.
Our Mobile Simulation course is a dynamic interdisciplinary trauma-focused program. We bring simulation equipment to sites around the province, allowing learners to practice in their own region and with their own teams. The program offers pre-course reading and a full day of simulated cases. Limited didactic content is covered using a flipped classroom style, and simulations are debriefed in a highly collegial, reproducible and evidence-based way. Learners leave the day more comfortable with learning by simulation, and with managing the specific clinical content covered.
